Novak Djokovic lifted his fourth Wimbledon trophy on Sunday but this title will always be one of the most special moments in the Serbian’s life.

It was for the first time that his three-year-old son Stefan was present in the stadium during Djoovic’s big match.

Since Wimbledon’s rules do not permit children of age below five years on to Centre Court, Stefan was made to sit in one of the lounges in the All England Stadium.

“It feels amazing because for the first time in my life, I have someone screaming, “daddy daddy,” There is this little boy right there. He is under five years so according to the rules, he couldn’t watch the match live. But we were hoping that, if this happens, if I hold the trophy he can be there to witness it. So, I can’t be happier, I’m mean, I’m very emotional for him being there and my wife and my whole team, obviously,” Djokovic said in an interview after he was handed the prestigious trophy.

It took former World No. 1 Djokovic 2 hours 19 minutes to clinch his 13th Grand Slam title, defeating Kevin Anderson 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(3). That's less than half of the time he and Rafael Nadal were on court for their semifinal duel, and almost a third of the time it took Anderson and John Isner to complete their respective semi-final game.
