Saina Nehwal provided the golden touch on the final day as India ended the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast with a total of 66 medals and a creditable third position in the medals tally.
With 26 gold, 20 silver and 20 bronze medals, this was India’s third best finish in CWG history after 2010 Delhi edition (101 medals) and the 2002 Manchester edition (69).
