Cristiano Ronaldo becomes an official Real Madrid player on Wednesday. The Portuguese signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid. On June 26, the Spanish club confirmed that Ronaldo will become a Real player on July 1.

Although there is update on the personal terms and conditions of the contract, it is believed that Ronaldo’s contract is likely to be worth about 13 million euros. It is also likely to have a buyout clause of 1 billion euros.

Ronaldo’s unveiling ceremony at the Santiago Bernabeu is likely to be a grand offer, bigger than any other the ground has witnessed.

Reports in the Spanish media claim that Ronaldo will be officially unveiled and paraded on Monday, July 6 and more than 25,000 fans are likely to be present for the function where Ronaldo will wear the famous Real white shirt for the first time. Real Madrid paid Manchester United 93 million euros (£80 million) for Ronaldo.

“Real Madrid is a club I have always wanted to play for. I am very grateful for the effort they have made on my behalf. I hope the fans of Manchester will understand my decision,” Ronaldo had said at the announcement of his move.
