Sale of tickets for the second edition of the Indian Grand Prix, to be held at Buddh International Circuit (BIC) on October 28, commenced on Tuesday.

Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) MD and CEO Sameer Gaur launched the sale of tickets at the circuit based in Greater Noida and gave the first ticket to Deccan Chargers captain Kumar Sangakkara and his teammates at a ceremony on Tuesday.

In order to give motorsport enthusiasts a chance to watch the highest level of motor racing from a vantage point, JPSI has reduced the price of its main grandstand by Rs 5,000. Thus, F1 fans can witness the grid and pit lane action just for Rs30,000 on October 26, 27, and 28. The ticket is inclusive of food and beverages vouchers worth Rs3,000.

A limited number of tickets are also available for the main race day — October 28 — at Rs20,000. Moreover, early birds will get BIC merchandise free of cost on booking the three-day Grandstand tickets.

The minimum ticket for the three-day event will be available for Rs3,500 for the natural stands. Tickets and all the other relevant information will be available at www.jaypeesports.com and www.bookmyshow.com. Gaur said, “Facilities at BIC had been improved further and you can look forward to a far more entertaining race this year.”
