Special treatment awaits Sachin Tendulkar in Rajkot

A luxurious presidential suite awaits batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar at Hotel Imperial, where the Indian and Sri Lankan cricket teams are scheduled to stay for the first ODI on Tuesday, in the wake of his recent achievements.

Generally such type of facility is reserved for captains of the teams but Sachin would be given special service for completing two decades in international cricket and 30,000 runs in both forms of the game, Hotel Imperial's director Atul
Sheth said.

The suite has specially been decorated and equipped with latest technology. It has a master bed room, huge drawing room, a dining room and two bathrooms, Sheth said.

A special 30kg cake has also been ordered for him for completing 30,000 runs, Sheth said.

Both teams are scheduled to arrive here this evening.
