Mumbai Indians are done with recruiting uncapped players. As expected, Ambati Rayudu and Rajagopal Sathish, Dhawal Kulkarni, Pawan Suyal, Abu Nechim, Ali Murtaza, and Aditya Tare have all been retained by the Mukesh Ambani-owned franchise.

They have, of course, added T Suman, a former Deccan Chargers player, to the squad.

The other new recruits are Sarul Kanwar, a right-handed opening batsman from Punjab, 20-year-old Haryana leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and Mumbai middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav.

The team had successfully bid for Rohit Sharma, Munaf Patel, Andrew Symonds, Davy Jacobs, Clint McKay, James Franklin, Moises Henriques and Aiden Blizzard at the recent auction. Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Kieron Pollard and Lasith Malinga were retained.

Meanwhile, Deccan Chargers, too, recruited some new players. Among the uncapped players in the team’s roster are D Ravi Teja, Akash Bhandari and Ashish Reddy of Hyderabad, Kedar Devdhar of Baroda, Ankit Sharma and Anand Ranjan of Madhya Pradesh, Harmeet Singh of Punjab, Bharat Chipli of Karnataka and Ishank Jaggi of Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Delhi Daredevils have recruited two players from the Ranji Trophy-winning Rajasthan team. Vivek Yadav, who was one of the most successful bowlers, and Robin Bist, a 23-year-old batsman, have joined Daredevils squad.

Yadav is a leg-spinner who took four important wickets in the Ranji final against Baroda last week.
