Mum's 'Deliciano' tweet for rival Feliciano Lopez embarrasses Andy Murray

British tennis star Andy Murray had to tell his mother Judy to stop embarrassing him in front of rival Feliciano Lopez after she dubbed the Spaniard 'Deliciano' on Twitter.

After his four-set win over Ivan Ljubicic, Murray posted a twitter message saying,  "I think it's about time she stopped that nonsense. It's making me throw up - it's disgusting," The Sun reports. 

The situation was especially awkward because Murray has known Lopez for many years.

"I was practicing with him before the tournament," Murray said.
 
In the event that both Murray and Lopez win their fourth-round matches, they will go head to head in the last eight next Wednesday.

Feliciano Lopez, however, said he is happy to be a Wimbledon heartthrob after being nicknamed "Deliciano" by the mother of British ace Andy Murray.

Lopez caught the eyes of all at the All England Club on Friday with a shock 7-6 (7/2), 7-6 (7/2), 6-4 victory over three-time finalist Andy Roddick in the third round.
