Jenson Button says the Japanese Grand Prix will be his second "home" race — thanks to his rekindled romance with Jessica Michibata.

Button calls the gorgeous Japanese lingerie model "the missus".

Button, now fifth in the world championship chase and 25 points adrift of leader Mark Webber, has spent a lot of time in the Far East of late.

He said: "The missus has been invited to Paris for a fashion week. So I'm going to go there for a day and then I'll arrive in Japan on Friday. I see it as my second home Grand Prix. It's a very special race and one I'm very much looking forward to because I love Suzuka. If we have a good car around there, it's a lovely place to be competitive.

The Sun further quoted him, as saying: "I'm hoping we'll have some good support from the Japanese fans and with Jessica being Japanese I'm sure there'll be a lot of her supporters there as well."

Button is convinced Suzuka will be kinder to him than Singapore, where he finished fourth and was easily outpaced by Ferrari and Red Bull.
