Ex-cricketer's estranged wife alleges harassment by neighbours

Estranged wife of former cricketer Manoj Prabhakar today alleged that goons sent by her neighbours physically assaulted her following a dispute over the use of the terrace of the house in which she was living.

Sandhya Prabhakar, residing in the second floor of a bungalow in Nehru Enclave in south Delhi's Kalkaji, claimed a family living in the ground floor sent goons to her house and indulged in violence.

She said she was living there for the past 20 years and had the rights to use the terrace. "When I planned to built a small room, it was objected to and I did not built it," she said.

She claimed there were tension between the neighbour and her for sometime over the use of terrace. "They sent around ten goons to my house today and they damaged everything in my house," she claimed.

 Police said they have received a complaint and probe is on. No case has been registered so far.
