Mexican club Xoloitzcuintles Tijuana has launched an ambitious bid to sign Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham.

However, Beckham’s concern about uprooting his family from the United States may act as a deterrent.

According to the Daily Mail, the club hopes to tempt the 36-year-old with the offer of a one million pound-a-month pay packet and a private jet to and from games.

Beckham’s Los Angeles Galaxy contract expires at the end of the Major League Soccer (MLS) season this month.

He has been offered the chance to stay in Los Angeles, but so far has not agreed any new deal due to which he will be a free agent on November 20.
