David Beckham hints at ‘hanging up boots’ this year

David Beckham has said that he might retire from professional football this year.

Even though the 36-year-old midfielder’s contract with LA Galaxy ends this week, the US club is keen to reinstate him, and there have also been talks of Paris Saint-Germain and Spurs chasing the English footballer.

“I need to look how my body feels at the end of this season because coming back after the injuries I had last season was difficult,” The Sun quoted the football star as saying.

The dad of four said that he would discuss it with his wife Victoria and his family during Christmas.

He admitted that he might just do something else.
