Carlos Tevez to brush up his English with help from Eminem

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has renewed his attempt to learn English by listening to rapper Eminem’s latest album Recovery.

Tevez has struggled to pick up the language since his arrival in Britain four years ago.

City bosses had last year sorted out hourly English lessons, but the 26-year-old quickly lost interest in them. 

“The tutors are coming up with ways for Carlos to enjoy learning English. He is a huge fan of rap and they think this is a way for him to remain interested. So Eminem lyrics have been put down on crib sheets for him,” The Daily Star quoted a source, as saying.

“He thinks he has to take this responsibility now he is the captain. He knows he has to lead by example. At least he’ll pick up enough swear words to give the lads a real rollicking if they aren’t pulling their weight,” the source added.
