Afridi to feature in Emirates T20 tournament in Dubai

Afridi, who will be playing for the Fly Emirates XI team in the quadrangular tournament, said he is eagerly looking forward to the tournament.

Swashbuckling  Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi, who is currently facing a two T20 match ban, would be in action during the inaugural Emirates Airline Twenty20 tournament in Dubai in March.

Afridi, who will be playing for the Fly Emirates XI team in the quadrangular tournament, said he is eagerly looking forward to the tournament.

"It is going to be a tough challenge, but I am looking forward to it immensely.I always enjoy my time in Dubai and am very excited about playing in the tournament. I know there is a real passion among cricket fans in the UAE and it will be great to play in front of them," The Daily Times quoted Afridi, as saying.

The other three teams in the tournament are South African Twenty20 champions Cape Cobras, English Twenty20 Cup holders Sussex, and Surrey Lions.
