Australia's rising speedster Pat Cummins said that he is 'hoping to surpass' his own pace record of 153 km/hr by launching a 'quicker delivery' during the ongoing World Cup.
Earlier, Cummins clocked at 153 km/hr in a one-dayer at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Reflecting on his pace, Cummins said that 'he had got up to 153km/hr' and, he hoped he could 'bowl quicker than that', News.com.au reported.

Cummins further said that 'some days he seemed to get into a really good rhythm' and the 'ball just seemed to be flying out of his hand', adding that he was a 'guy who just rips in and tries to bowl quickly', the report added.
The rising pacer is eagerly waiting for his turn to go 'full-throttle', complementing Australia's much-vaunted bowling line-up, which has the likes of Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood.
After beating England by 111 runs, Australia will next meet Bangladesh on Friday at Brisbane.
