Nike brought all the tennis stars to the streets of New York City. The stars ranged from tennis legend John McEnroe to controversial lad Nick Kyrgios.

Ahead of the last major tournament of the year, US Open, for promotional purposes, Nike created a makeshift tennis court on the streets of Greenwich Village, New York City.

Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Euginie Bouchard, Madison Keys, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Grigor Dimitrov came together to recreate its iconic 90's commercial featuring Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras, reports Vanity Fair.

John McEnroe was the chair umpire for the fun gully-tennis and Vogue editor Anna Wintour made the crowd for these exhibition matches.

Nike managed to bring together a few people who are currently absolutely uncomfortable in each other's company. Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov have just broken up. Imagine the awkwardness there. The off-court coldness between Serena Williams and Sharapova is also well known to the world.

Nick Kyrgios was a happy man for two reasons. He escaped with a lenient one month suspension and fine of $25,000 for the commenting debacle against Stan Wawrinka and he got to rub shoulders with folks in the big league!

But the biggest draw was Agassi and Sampras together. The duo brought glory to American tennis in the 90's. No better way to celebrate biggest tennis tournament on US soil!
