Remember Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja's sword aka bat brandishing at Lord's cricket ground back in the year 2014, when he scored a crucial half-century? Well, the Saurashtra lad was back at it again after reaching his second Test fifty at Green Park in Kanpur on Sunday but in doing that, he got trolled by none other than his skipper Virat Kohli.

The hosts had already taken a lead of more than 400 runs on the fourth day of the first Test match against New Zealand, but Kohli decided to delay the declaration with Jadeja on the cusp of his half-century. So as soon as the left-hander reached the mini-landmark, the Indian captain, with a chewing gum in his mouth, animatedly signalled the batsmen (Jadeja and Rohit Sharma) to come back while setting a target of 434 for the Kiwis.

However, Jadeja was busy brandishing his bat like a sword to celebrate his batting feat and failed to notice Kohli's orders. This led to a hilarious incident as the aggressive leader imitated his spin wizard's trademark celebration, albeit in a comical way as if to say, "Enough of talwarbazi (sword fighting), now just come back." This left the other Indian players, who were sitting back in the dressing room in splits.

India positioned themselves for a massive win in their 500th cricket Test by polishing off the New Zealand top-order after setting them a colossal 434-run target, propelled by unbeaten half-centuries from Rohit and Jadeja. New Zealand were tottering at 93 for four in their second innings with the exuberant Luke Ronchi (38) and the steady Mitchell Santner (8) at the crease when stumps were drawn on the fourth day.

The Black Caps require a history-defying effort to win the Test as no team has ever chased such a daunting target. They still need 341 runs and batting three sessions on a fifth-day wicket is not something visiting teams have achieved often in India.
