Indian cricket's poster boy Virat Kohli was the latest icon to join PM Narendra Modi’s initiative Sandesh2Soldier. This is a noble effort to pay respect to the Indian soldiers who risk their lives everyday so that the citizens of the country enjoy a sound sleep.
Kohli, who reached Visakhapatnam with the Indian team on Thursday to play the fifth ODI against New Zealand, tweeted a video with a caption, “Whenever you see a jawan, salute them. We get to celebrate festivals & live in peace because of them. Jai Hind.”

Incidentally, Kohli's senior statemate Virender Sehwag had also voiced similar feelings about the Indian Army on Tuesday.
"Kisi Bhi Fauji Ko Dekho,Toh Ek Salute Thoko".Your wishes can bring a smile to a Soldier this Diwali.
