The 17th JK Racing National Championship ended with a hat-trick of podium finishes by Dark Don Racing's Diljith TS and Euro International's Vishnu Prasad at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore on Sunday.
The 21-year-old Prasad from Chennai – who took the honours in Race 2 and 3 of the JK racing India series – finished third in the Formula 4 LGB event of the series which was granted national status by The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India. Thrissur driver Diljith took the chequered flag of the LGB Formula 4 event Race 2 and 3. Kolhapur-born teenager Krishnaraj Mahadik, who studies in Pune, finished third in both the races of JK FB02 event.

The hero of Volkswagen Polo R Cup Race 2 was Angad Singh who dramatically slipped to ninth position before finishing second. Bonnie Thomas of Kerala, who is a rally driver, took the podium.
