Suresh Raina visits LoC, applauds jawans

Out-of-favour Indian cricketer Suresh Raina visited a forward post on the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir on Monday.

A defence spokesman told dna that the cricketer's visit to a post near Baramula was a morale booster for the troops deployed in the harsh and rugged terrain of Kashmir. In his interaction with the troops, he applauded the efforts made by the Indian Army jawans in keeping a constant vigil on the LoC in harsh weather conditions and in the tough terrain of the area.

Raina also shared some light moments and a meal with the troops.
