Mumbai will rue their lost opportunities.

Tamil Nadu got to Tea at 242 for 2 on Day 4 of their Ranji Trophy semi-final encounter against Mumbai at Rajkot. Captain Abhinav Mukund was batting on an unbeaten 120 and giving him company was Baba Indrajith on a well-compiled 89. Their lead has extended to 141 runs, which will surely be a cause for concern for Mumbai coach Chandrakant Pandit.
Mumbai will rue their lost opportunities as Mukund was given two reprieves before he got to his hundred. First, Mumbai captain and wicketkeeper Aditya Tare missed an easy stumping opportunity when Mukund stepped out to left-arm spinner Vijay Gohil but was beaten all-ends-up. And the second time Gohil himself missed a fairly easy caught-and-bowled opportunity when Mukund miss-hit a straight drive.
Even though the wicket does not seem to have any demons in it, Mumbai will surely feel the pressure while batting on Day 5 if Tamil Nadu manage to set them a reasonable target soon enough. All eyes will now be on the scoring rate of Mukund and his boys.
