Novak Djokovic dedicated his third Italian Open title win on Sunday to flood victims at home in Serbia.

He beat defending champion and world number one Rafael Nadal 4-6 6-3 6-3 in two hours and 19 minutes. This was his third win in a row against the Spaniard, and has been victorious at five of the last six ATP Masters 1000 events, reports the BBC.

Nadal was quoted as saying that the past week has been very hard mentally and physically. He admitted to being very tired after losing to Djokovic. Djokovic, on the hand, said that part of him was very happy to win the tournament in Rome, but another part of him was with his suffering people in Serbia.

He drew a heart on the court moments after converting match point. It was only his fourth win against Nadal in 17 matches played on clay.
