The Supreme Court on Friday revealed four of the 13 names probed by the Justice Mukul Mudgal Committee investigating into the IPL spot-fixing and betting scandal. They are sidelined BCCI president N Srinivasan, his son-in-law and former Chennai Super Kings team principal Gurunath Meiyappan, Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra and IPL chief operating officer Sundar Raman.

Accidentally, the court also revealed the names of three players. But after the intervention of the counsel, the court later clarified that it wanted the names of only non-cricketers to be revealed.

Without divulging any details about the judicial panel's findings against them, the bench said the partial report pertaining to these "non-playing actors" can be shared with the counsel. The court also issued a notice to all of them and sought their responses/objections by November 24.

"We have seen the report and the report did suggest some misdemeanour by certain persons. The report is in relation to players and to other actors in the drama," the bench comprising justices TS Thakur and Ibrahim Kalifulla said.

"Certain findings recorded by the committee are understood to have indicted some individuals against whose conduct investigation has been conducted," the court added.

The bench said the report pertaining to these four non-players can be made public. "We want to hold back the report which deals with the conduct of the players. If necessary, we will reveal it at a later stage."

One of the lawyers associated with the case said that "the court found adverse findings against these four people for which it has issued notice to them and sought their response to the committee's report."

With this development, senior advocate CA Sundaram, who represented the BCCI, submitted before the court that the board will defer its Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for November 20, by four weeks.
