Misbah's top mission is to break World Cup jinx against India

Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul Haq revealed that he would like to defeat arch-rivals India in the upcoming World Cup, in an attempt to break the jinx in the sport's pinnacle 50-over tournament. Pakistan have failed to beat India in their previous five World Cup matches.

Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul Haq revealed that he would like to defeat arch-rivals India in the upcoming World Cup, in an attempt to break the jinx in the sport's pinnacle 50-over tournament. Pakistan have failed to beat India in their previous five World Cup matches.

Misbah said that all matches were important but the desire was to beat India adding that they want to play it with full heart and passion and break that trend, the Dawn reported. Pakistan will play two one-day internationals against New Zealand before opening their World Cup campaign against India on February 15 in Adelaide.
