Mike Tyson was in for a surprise when he got to know he had a bounty of 50,000 dollars on his head after he ordered a hit on reputed criminal kingpin Damion Hardy for the same price.

Allen Bryant and Shelby Henderson, witnesses at the case trial in Brooklyn Federal Court spilled the beans that they argued with Hardy when asked them to kill the boxer but the New York drug dealer insisted that there was no reason not to kill Tyson as he also put bounty on the criminal's head, the Mirror reported.

Henderson added that he didn't like the idea of killing the former boxer but couldn't help it and would not have been able to stop the hit from taking place and either he would e killed or would have to kill.

The former heavyweight champion and the New York drug dealer had a fight to the death and put bounties on each other's head over the murder of the boxer's longtime friend and security guard, Darryl Baum, who was shot dead in June 2000 in a drug-related dispute with Hardy.
