Australian captain Michael Clarke was reportedly involved in an injury scare during training for the second Ashes Test against England at Adelaide, although the fears later seemed unfounded with the captain batting in the nets.

Clarke appeared to have rolled an ankle during training for the Adelaide Test and was moving a little gingerly as the Australians performed fielding drills at Adelaide Oval.

However, the Sydney Morning Herald reports that the skipper continued training with his teammates, and then padded up for a session in the nets, with Cricket Australia (CA) tweeting that Clarke has successfully completed the net sessions.

Clarke averages more than 100 at the Adelaide Oval and scored a century in the second innings in Brisbane, where Australia beat England by 381 runs in the series-opener, the report added.
