Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping his side beats Southampton comfortably today, after the 1-1 draw at Arsenal last Saturday.

City have dropped below Chelsea in the Premier League standings, but still have two more games in hand than the sides above them. They also face Liverpool next week, and will be looking to get a win heading into that match.

Manchester City have also turned Etihad into a fortress, winning 13 out of 14 games on home soil, with a solitary defeat against Chelsea.

Pellegrini could be without leading goal scorer Sergio Aguero this weekend, who is out with an injury since February.
