Dismissing their heavy defeat against New Zealand in a World Cup warm-up game on Wednesday, South African all-rounder JP Duminy said that his team are not too intimidated by the defeat ahead of the pinnacle tournament, which starts on Saturday.

Duminy, who top-scored with 80 runs, couldn't rescue his side from incurring a 134-run defeat against Brendon McCullum-led team.

Reflecting on team's performance, Duminy said that they were not too fazed by the result there, adding that it was about getting time out in the middle and getting some overs under the belt, Stuff.co.nz reported.

New Zealand along with Australia and South Africa have been billed as favourites to bag the coveted prize.

Duminy further said that it was always nice to get wins in those sorts of games but they were quite happy with where they were, the report added.

New Zealand will open their World Cup campaign against Sri Lanka on February 14 in Christchurch.
