A Delhi court on Monday deferred the framing of charges against cricketers Ajit Chandila, S. Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and others, including underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his aide Chhota Shakeel, to July 25.

Additional Sessions Judge Neena Bansal Krishna, who was scheduled to pass the order today, said that the order sheet is not yet prepared.

Sreesanth today expressed hope that he would be free of all the charges levelled against when this case is next heard.

"I believe in the Indian judiciary and I am sure everything is coming into place and it is just a matter of time, another one month, or maybe 27 days more," Sreesanth told the media here.

"I have been counting the days... it has been two years since I have been behind this. Hopefully, the next month will be a relief. It was supposed to be today. Unfortunately or fortunately it has been extended for one more month. So, I really hope that on July 25, I will get relief," he added.

Additional Sessions Judge Neena Bansal Krishna had on May 23 reserved the order on framing of charges in the case for June 29 and asked the counsel appearing for the accused to file their written arguments, if any, by June 6.
