Australia's wrecker-in-chief Kuldeep Yadav thanked Shane Warne for teaching him how to bowl the flipper, a delivery he used to get opener David Warner on Saturday. Yadav made a mighty impressive debut in the fourth Test in Dharamshala, picking up four crucial wickets for Team India.

"My first wicket was not a Chinaman delivery but a flipper which I learnt from him (Warne)," a thrilled Kuldeep told reporters at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. "It's obviously good to learn from them and use against them," quipped the Uttar Pradesh spinner who met Australian spin great Warne in Pune last month. "Warne is my idol. I still watch his videos. It was a dream to meet him and discuss my bowling. I followed his advice. We'd meet soon for another session."

On Sunday morning, there was more good news in store for the 22-year-old as the legendary Aussie leg-spinner took to social media to congratulate him for his exploits.

"Always happy to help out any young spinner from any country. Long live the wrist spinners, Kuldeep was very impressive," Warne tweeted"

Here's his tweet:

Australia skipper Steve Smith's third century of the series and India spinner Yadav's memorable debut left the fourth and final test between the teams evenly poised on Saturday. Smith, comfortably the leading scorer of the series, made 111 as he and David Warner, who scored 56, added 134 runs for the second wicket to help Australia dominate the morning session after opting to bat.

Left-arm wrist-spinner Yadav, an inspirational selection in India's bold move to go with five bowlers, led the hosts' strong comeback in the post-lunch session when five wickets tumbled for 64 runs. Matthew Wade made 57 down the order to help Australia reach 300 before the tourists folded leaving India to bat the final over of the day, a maiden one from Josh Hazlewood.
