Jubilant with Yuvraj Singh's comeback to the Indian T20 team for the Australian tour, his father Yograj Singh on Saturday insisted that such 'great players should not be dropped just after few bad innings.'

"He has always been a very special player for India. I am not saying this because he is my son but because I have coached him. I always knew he was going to make a comeback because of the way things were going. I think the best thing that has happened to him is that both Yuvraj and Hazel are on the same level as far as fitness is concerned," Singh told ANI.

"His comeback was always on the cards. When he was dropped I was very much hurt because such great players cannot be dropped just after few bad innings. You got to push them up. A player must be pushed ahead when they are going down and I wish him (Yuvraj) all the best and I hope he wins lots of matches for India," he added.
