Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh put out a series of tweets on Wednesday where he accused a Jet Airways pilot of racism. The off-spinner, who recently picked up his 200th wicket in T20s in the on-going Indian Premier League, alleged that the pilot even physically assaulted a woman.
"So called this Bernd Hoesslin a pilot with @jetairways called my fellow Indian (u bloody Indian get out of my flight) while he is earning here," wrote Harbhajan. "Not only was he racist but physically assaulted a lady and abused a physically challenged man..absolutely disgraceful & shame on @jetairways."
Harbhajan also urged authorities to take strict action against the pilot. "Strict action must b taken & such things should not be allowed or tolerated in r country.. #proudtobeindian let's get together and sort this," he wrote.
