Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq supports ICC for ten-team 2019 World Cup

Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq has backed the International Cricket Council's proposal to limit the 2019 World Cup to a 10-team event.

In a column for ICC, Inzamam opined that there was talk of a ten-team World Cup in 2019, adding that he was in 'favour of the proposal', Stuff.co.nz reported.

According to Inzamam, the Associate teams should be given a minimum of 10-12 matches a year against test-playing nations, in order to gain the ranking points required for direct qualification.
