London: Former Liverpool captain Ronnie Whelan has reportedly revealed that the club's race for the Premier League title is not yet over and is expecting more 'twists and turns' in the race.

Whelan, who was part of the Liverpool squad when the last won a title in 1990, said that he does not feel anyone can call the title their own at the current moment.

According to the BBC, Whelan said that there is still so much to happen in the Premier League title race, but it is in Livepool's hands to win it, if they win their last four games.

Whelan said that Liverpool's 3-2 win over Manchester City on Sunday was far from being the title decider as there is still a little way to go and the club has to concentrate so hard to get to the finish line.

Liverpool will become Premier League champions for the first time in 24 years if they win their last four games, but Chelsea or Manchester City could benefit if they lose any of their upcoming clashes and drop points, the report added.
