England international Adam Johnson has pleaded guilty to two child sex charges involving a 15-year-old girl. Although admitting charges he will stand trial on a further two alleged offences. The Sunderland player admitted one offence of grooming a schoolgirl and another of kissing her in a sexual manner.

The 28-year-old arrived at Bradford Crown Court this morning with his girlfriend Stacey Flounders. Johnson, who has been a former Manchester City player, was arrested in March last year on account of these charges.  His last appearance for the relegation threatened team was in the weekend’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool, in which he scored.
