Seven time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher woke up from comatose state on June 16. The news came after speculations earlier in May that the F1 racer could remain permanently in the vegetative state.
Schumacher has been receiving treatment in a hospital in Grenoble, France, after his skiing accident on the French Alps in December last year, where he suffered numerous head injuries.
The news that he is awake and responding to his family has delighted friends, well wishers and fans alike. Here are some Twitter reactions to his miraculous recovery:
