German motorsport racer Nico Rosberg has branded his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton's actions during the Chinese Grand Prix as 'irrelevant' and has insisted that he would beat the Briton in the coming weeks.

Rosberg had tried to clear-the-air between him and Hamilton as the duo headed for the second of their back-to-back races in Bahrain on Sunday, but when the Briton branded him a happy loser, he was not far behind in having a say of his own.

Rosberg claimed that they are starting from scratch again, adding that Hamilton could drive as he wants, insisting that it's up to the reigning Formula One champion. He, however, pointed out that it's completely irrelevant to him, The Mirror reported.

The German claimed that he just has to try again to make a comeback and go on a run like he did last year. He admitted that when he sat next to Hamilton on the podium at the press conference, he was 'p*****d off'.

Rosberg said that between Hamilton and him sometimes it is going well and sometimes less good, adding that now they are in a difficult situation again but he sees no reason to discuss what happened.

Rosberg claimed that there would be no big change in their relationship, adding that he can and would turn it around in a few days and beat his Mercedes rival. He admitted that another double victory for Mercedes would be all right with him, but added that this time, he wanted to hear the German winners anthem.
