Ex-skipper Imran Khan asks for Pakistan's 'flawed' domestic cricket system to be 'overhauled'

In the wake of Pakistan's 3-0 ODI drubbing against Bangladesh, legendary cricketer Imran Khan has called for a major overhaul of his country's cricket board and 'flawed' domestic cricket circuit.

Pakistan suffered a historic whitewash at the hands of Bangladesh and also lost the subsequent lone T20.

Reflecting on the team's miserable performance, Pakistan's former International Cricket Council's (ICC) chief, Ehsan Mani, on Sunday stated that that there had been no focus on domestic cricket and the PCB was in need of a major overhaul.

Echoing similar views, Pakistan's former captain Imran Khan said he had been saying since 1980s that the domestic cricket structure is deeply flawed and needs to be overhauled, the Dawn reported.

Imran expressed that Pakistan cricket has hit rock bottom while backing PCB chief (Shahryar Khan) and ex-ICC chief (Ehsan Mani) suggestions that domestic structure needs overhauling.
