With Champions League football all but certain for both teams, bragging rights will be up for grabs as Manchestser United lock horns with their age old rivals Arsenal.

Barring the FA Cup, United have a better record against the Gunners in all other club competitions, with the Red Devils winning on 23 ocassions compared to Arsenal's 11 victories in the Premier League.

The rivalry between these two sides, began with the arrival of Arsene Wenger in 1996, when the Frenchman guided Arsenal to breaking Manchester United's dominance in the Premier League of four titles in five seasons, by winning the League and FA Cup double in his first full season in charge, in 1997.

The following season saw Manchester United win an unprecedented treble, beating Arsenal to the Premier League title by one point and also defeating them in an FA Cup semi-final replay at Villa Park, thanks to Ryan Giggs' splendid extra-time goal.

Arsenal have an unprecedented record of their own, going through an entire league season unbeaten and were consequently named the “Invincibles”. But even during that season, Arsenal never got the better of Manchester United, having drawn both league games, 0-0 at Old Trafford in a highly controversial match and 1-1 at Highbury.

But as fate would have it, it was Manchester United who ended Arsenal's unbeaten run of 49 games, with a controversial 2-0 win at Old Trafford, courtesy of goals from Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Wayne Rooney.

Arsenal have never beaten United at Old Trafford in the Premier League, since their 1-0 league win in 2006 when Emmanuel Adebayor's winner secured a victory for the Gunners. But having already gotten the better of United at Old Trafford this season in the FA Cup, the Gunners will be inspired to finally end their poor run at the famous stadium in the Premier League.

Arsenal may have beaten United 2-1 in the FA Cup in March, but the last time the north London club got the better of the Red Devils was back in May 2011, when Aaron Ramsey's goal for Arsenal was the only goal of the match at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal and Manchester United are just two points adrift each other in the Premier League table, on 3rd and 4th position respectively, but the north London club who have a game in hand will look to earn the victory that will cement their third place position in the table with just two games remaining.

Arsenal who made the FA Cup final after beating Reading in the semis and United in the quarter finals, will look to secure a morale boosting victory against United at Old Trafford ahead of their highly anticipated FA Cup finals clash against Aston Villa.

But United could play spoilsport as the Red Devils will look to continue their dominant run against the Gunners at Old Trafford, with a vital victory that could life them to third in the Premier League table.

Former Arsenal skipper Robin Van Persie is set to feature for United, and will look to increase his goalscoring tally against his former team with a goal on Sunday. The Dutchman has scored 3 goals in 4 games against the Gunners.

United skipper Wayne Rooney is set to miss the Arsenal clash after sustaining a dead leg in the Crystal Palace clash last weekend. Luke Shaw is the other absentee for United.

Former United striker Danny Welbeck, who scored the winner in the FA Cup clash in March, is set to miss out  his return to Old Trafford due to a knee injury.

Arsenal and Manchester United are set to renew hostilities in a highly anticipated clash at Old Trafford. Will Arsenal get their second successive victory at Old Trafford, or will United avenge their FA Cup exit at the hands of Arsenal?
