ECB, CSA announce schedule for England's tour of Proteas

Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Monday announced the schedule for England's tour of South Africa during the summer of 2015/16.

The two sides would go head to head in four Test matches, five ODIs and two T20 international matches.

CSA Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said that England has always been one of the most popular visitors to their shores, adding that the battles in recent Test series for the Basil d'Oliveira Shield has always been hard fought and they would surely fight to keep the trophy in their possession, Sport24 reported.

He said that England is the best supported team away from home and once more they look forward to welcoming their legion of fans together with their players and team management.

Lorgat said that the well-known 'Barmy Army' always adds charm to the on-field competition. He added that the tour has already drawn huge interest and promises to be the highlight of their summer with four Test matches being played.
