Caroline Wozniacki has been featured in Sports Illustrated's famed swimsuit edition, and the beauty revealed that it was "dream come true" for which she pushed hard for.

The 24-year-old Danish Tennis star, who was the runner-up at Auckland's international tournament recently, joined MMA star Rhonda Rousey as the athletic element to the photo shoots by photographer Walter Iooss Jnr, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The sports babe, who flaunted her toned physique in a number of white bikinis and swimsuits, said that she had literally showed up at the publications offices few months back stating "If you need a model or want one, I'm here."

It must have made a pretty good impression, she added.

Wozniacki, who has had a rocky year with split from golfer fiance Rory McIlroy, said that she loved every minute of the shoot, and that it came at "the perfect time" since she was at her peak of fitness thanks to her training for tennis and New York marathon.
