According to a report published in Mail Today, BCCI may select four past heroes Sehwag, Zaheer, Harbhajan and Yuvraj for a farewell series in Bangladesh next month.

These four played a stellar role in ensuring India becoming a top cricketing nation in the last decade and were also part of the World Cup winning 2011 side. But with time they have fallen out of favour with selectors. The report however suggests BCCI may be willing to give these four a graceful exit from international cricket.

There is a section within the cricket board who are keen to see these 4 past greats part of the Bangladesh tour. But as of now it is left upon the selectors to take a final call in this regard. The team for Bangladesh will be selected on May 20. The tour kicks off with a Test in Fatullah on June 10. India will also play three ODI's with Bangladesh.

All the four are currently playing in IPL 8. Yuvraj Singh after being paid a hefty paycheck has just managed paltry 237 runs in 13 games for Delhi Daredevils. Sehwag in 8 matches for KXIP has managed merely 99 runs.

On the other hand, Zaheer has made a strong comeback after suffering from fitness woes for a very long time. Bhajji has managed a decent IPL donning MI colours.

It will be interesting to see if BCCI indeed offers a 'golden handshake' to these great servants of Indian cricket and whether they are also willing to call it quits now.
