The first Test between Australia and South Africa kicked off a gruelling season on Thursday but before the heavyweights could get involved in some real duel, two brothers - Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh showcased gravity defying fielding efforts and made it difficult for the spectators to choose a favourite between them.
In the very first over of the match, South African opener Stephen Cook was undone by a combination of beautiful bowling and fielding efforts. Mitchell Starc's back of a length delivery moved a touch and Cook got a thick outside edge which flew to the left of gully where Mitchell Marsh leapt to his left and plucked out a screamer with both hands.

Then again when the visitors were trying to eke out a partnership with Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock at the crease, Shaun Marsh went one step better than his sibling. He might be the older of the two Marsh brothers, but Shaun matched Mitchell's athleticism in style. Bavuma inside edged a Nathan Lyon delivery on to his pad as the ball popped up in the air. Stationed at short leg, the 33-year-old Shaun lunged to his right, took his right hand out and caught the ball just centimetres off the ground. David Boon must have been proud of the effort.
