Andre Agassi 'embarrassed' by dismal performance at IPTL

American tennis legend Andre Agassi admitted that he felt embarrassed during the International Premier Tennis League as he was omitted off playing the final night of action in Singapore.

The eight- time Grand Slam champion Agassi revealed that though the inaugural IPTL was a great experience, he wasn't fond of the league being full-on competitive, adding that he felt embarrassed during the game as he wasn't responding to the environment from a playing perspective, Sport24 reported.

Agassi further said that he would be better prepared next year if he makes a comeback.

Playing for Singapore Slammers, Agassi was defeated by Mark Philippoussis 6-3 on Tuesday and Fabrice Santoro 6-2 on Wednesday, and was subsequently replaced by Pat Rafter for Thursday's legends match against Goran Ivanisevic.
