Former world number one, Tiger Woods, has lost one of his valuable golf records, to a golfer with cocaine issues, and had been on a leave of absence for the same.

American golfer Dustin Johnson, broke Woods' course record by one stroke, as he shot a 61 last Tuesday, at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, TMZ.com reported.

Woods had held the Sherwood record since 2007 and hit that mark again in 2013.

Dustin, who is engaged to former Canadian ice hockey player, and captain Wayne Gretzky's daughter, Paulina, broke the record while shooting the round with Wayne and his wife.

Under USGA rules, the score must be signed by a witness, and Wayne did the honors.

Dustin took a leave of absence from the PGA in July after he tested positive for cocaine, the report added.
