Wilson x Connected Football now available to pre-order

Following the release of the Wilson x Connected Basketball last year, the sports brand's Wilson x Connected Football is out for pre-order.

The first connected football of the NFL, the ball comes fitted with well-protected sensors inside to measure players' throws and passes, connecting with the Wilson x Football mobile phone app to record the data.

The Wilson x Connected Football will provide players with feedback on the distance, spinsensors  rate, velocity, spiral efficiency and catch/drop rate of their throws. It also comes with five challenging game modes to show users how to throw, along with detailed stats on their performance in each game to help players improve.

Not only can players work on their game performance, but by connecting to the Wilson x Connected app using Bluetooth they can share their stats on the app's Wilson x leaderboard. Data can also be shared on social media to enjoy some friendly competition with fellow teammates and football fans.

Available to pre-order now in an official NFL size and a junior size, the first 100 people to place a pre-order will also receive a copy of NFL video game Madden 17 for free, with versions available for both the PS4 and Xbox One.

The Wilson x Connected Football is priced at $199.99, with shipping slated to start September 8.
