Watch manufacturer Fossil launches activity tracker Q Motion

The company has also launched two new smartwatches, and a smart-enabled analog watch.

US-based watch manufacturer Fossil has revealed the latest additions to its "Fossil Q" line of devices at Baselworld, including a new activity tracker.

The Q Motion, as it's called, features sleep tracking, water resistance and smart tap technology. Fossil has also launched two new slimmer Android Wear watches, Q Marshal and Q Wander, and a smarter analog watch. The Q Marshal and Q Wander models feature 44mm and 46mm cases respectively, and have a silicone strap option. Both feature always-on displays and let users stay on track with commute info, flights and timely reminders thanks to Google Now cards. The watches can be personalised with customisable face designs.

The brand's new smarter analog watch alerts users to incoming calls, as well as notifications contacts, with just the turn of the watch hands. It tracks steps, calories, sleep, automatic time zone updates and a second time zone, and connects to Android smartphones or iPhone devices via Bluetooth.The devices will go on sale between early summer and fall 2016.
