V- MODA has launched world’s first 3D printed, custom-designed headphones in India with an exclusive partnership with Indian distributor Ferrari Video and its retail brand Headphone Zone.
V-MODA has been at the forefront of bringing custom headphones to consumers with laser engraved shields for years now. It is reinventing itself once again with the introduction of custom 3D printed shields in a variety of materials including fiber, stainless steel, raw, plated and precious metals such as solid gold and platinum. Inspired and sculpted in V-MODA’s design studio in Milano, the 3D shields are made in NYC and the USA
Customer will be able to customize their headphones on headphone zone website by first selecting the base Headphones; users can then select their 3D shield material of choice and then choose their design and/or monogram or by sending their custom designs to Headphone Zone.
The 3D printed shields are the latest addition to the venerable V-MODA accessory ecosystem that makes the Crossfade and XS series the ultimate headphones for home, on-the-go and on stage. The 3D printed shields are compatible with the hundreds of thousands of V-MODA Crossfade series and XS headphones already in use. They join the accessory collection of BoomPro mic for gamers/broadcasters, XL cushions, CoilPro cable, 1/3-button cables, Vamp DAC/AMP and laser engraved aluminum shield
Available in Sterling Silver: Rs 28,000 for on-ear, Rs 42,000 for over-ear shield kits; Solid Gold: Rs 2, 60,000 – 3, 60,000 for on-ear, Rs 5, 90,000 – 8,40,000 for over-ear; Platinum: Rs 7, 80,000 – 10, 40,000 for on-ear, Rs 17, 60,000 – 2600,000 for over-ear. All precious metal offerings include a lifetime warranty on the headphones.
Available in raw brass and raw bronze that patina over time as well as brilliant rhodium plated, 14k gold plated and 14k rose gold plated. Price: Rs 13,500 – 22,000 for on-ear, Rs 36,000 – 42,000 for over-ear shield kits
Steel shields feature a distinctive “Damascus steel” effect that allows you to proudly showcase the advanced 3D technology. Available in matte black, stainless steel polished gold, polished bronze and matte bronze. Price: Rs 8,490 for on-ear, Rs 12,990 for over-ear shield kits.
