Scientists have discovered an unidentified flying object(UFO) named WT1190F or WTF headed straight for Earth. They suspect that the object may be a piece of old man made space junk which appears to be around 2m long and seems to be hollow or bent.

The strange object was discovered in early October by the Catalina Sky Survey, a project intended to provide early warning of approaching comets and asteroids.

It is said to collide with Earth, whatever bits of it that will not burn up in the Earth's atmosphere, at about 6.15am on November 13 in the Indian ocean around 40 miles off the southern tip of Sri Lanka.

The disruptive gravity of the Sun and Moon are theorised to have put it into a highly elliptical orbit, outside the Moon’s, which has put it on a collision course with Earth. The debris might be a discarded parts of a spaceship or even a remnant from the Saturn V rockets which took Apollo astronauts to the moon or even a fuel tank considering it's "hollow" appearance.

The object was first spotted in February 2013, then lost a couple of times and re-discovered earlier this month. There is lots of man-made space junk but WT1190F is the first ever to crash into Earth.
