The new feature is being rolled out to users right now.

Twitter has just added a new feature that may actually get some people to start using the app more: night mode.
The social network has launched the new feature for its Android app, which changes the colour palette of the feed from white to a deep, almost greyish blue. Not only does it actually make the entire app look better, but night mode is something compulsive tweeters have wanted for a long time.
Now on Android! Turn on night mode to Tweet in the dark. https://t.co/XVpmQeHdAk pic.twitter.com/vrIDEM22vO

It’s incredibly simple to activate, all you have to do is swipe to open up your usual left-hand panel (where you can access your profile and lists) and the toggle switch is right there. Thankfully, Twitter had the good sense to make night mode easy to access, as opposed to burying it in the settings menu.
There’s no word yet on if and when the feature will make it’s way to iOS, but Android users should be receiving the update right now.
