The HTC phone in the victim's pocket took the bullet during a robbery and saved his life. The phone manufaturer, upon hearing this, immediately sent him a replacement handset with happy compliments

The most recent victim of gun violence had his life saved by a HTC phone that was in his pocket, news reports said. But if that enough, the proud manufacturer of the saviour phone, HTC, sent the man a brand new HTC One handset with their compliments.

The victim, who is a shopkeeper in Florida, was attacked by a robber last week. The thief shot him and fled the scene. However, the victim didn't even realise that he had been shot till he pulled out his phone that had a bullet lodged in it.
